Some of my thoughts and views

Stop celebrating your successes !!
Even though it's the thing we're always told to do, if you're a perfectionist, then all it will do is make matters worse.
Why?
In this episode, I'm talking with Joseph Gerstel, CEO of Get Some Class, which provides remote team-building events for lawyers, introducing fun and laughter into a high-pressured and intense environment.
What started as an experiment in his own firm, has now flourished into an International Business.
In this episode, I'm talking with Sloane, a former business attorney who now devotes her time to guiding powerful women in fulfilling their highest potential.
After selling her law practice, Sloane found herself travelling the world with an amazing group of friends and living the lifestyle she'd always wanted. Suddenly, she realised that despite being in paradise - inside she was really lonely.
In this episode, I'm talking with Rael Bricker, international speaker, author and someone who works with business leaders to create rich and robust cultures - with measurable results.
Rael has had a portfolio career, including marketing, training, mergers and acquisitions and venture capitalism. Born in South Africa, now living in Western Australia, Rael's career started out as a junior engineer at an international mining house where the rigid hierarchical nature of the company automatically created division amongst the workforce.
Do you enjoy your business so much it makes your bits tingle?
What do I mean by that?
If you were to score yourself as to how much you enjoy your business – out of 10 – what score would you give?
Most successful people I ask go with 7 out of 10.
Your internal sat nav is suffering interference.
There is a lot of talk about finding your purpose and, though it is supposed to be the solution to many issues, it can create pressure if you haven't found it yet.
When did you last have a good cry?
Why do I ask?
You don't need to find your purpose.
You don't…
In this episode, I'm talking with Kay Suthar, a Business Strategist, Award Winning Author and Professional Speaker
Kay started off life wanting to be a superhero which, in the real world, led her to join the police force. Health issues forced her to retire at which point an opportunity arose to move into politics, helping with election campaigns. From there, events, sales and marketing became the focus and a position in Costa Rica appeared – and disappeared the moment she arrived - leaving her stuck in the country with no job, no home and no money !!
Can you keep a secret?
“I know people that have everything they've ever wanted and they still aren't happy.”
How can that be right?
