Ignorance is the path to success

We frequently run with the belief that we need to be the expert in every single aspect of what we do.

This puts pressure on us to be this powerful font of all knowledge. And can actually create a barrier between the 'mere mortal' of a client and ourselves.

The truth is that it's not about holding all the answers in our heads, but knowing where to go to find them.

Which means that the questions that you ask are actually much more important than the answers.

And not knowing something in the moment can actually build trust between you and those around you.

My task for you is, therefore, in every business meeting this week, aim to answer at least one question with some form of “I don't know”

You will be a better person for it.
